Is the srunchy making a return?
OK, so to my suprise on the tube today, I saw a very stylish lady rocking a georgous Balenciaga ensemble on her arm, Lanvin pumps on her feet and a vintage Chanel necklace gracing her neck. But for some strange reason she had, what seemed to be, a fur scrunchy in her hair. Am I missing something? I know Marc Jacobs dazzled the catwalk last season with the whole bunny bows in the hair reflecting Madonna's getup in the 80s, but was he really trying to re-introduce something that originally made all women look like a fashion disaster. mmmmmmm one to think about.......

Returning To Classics...
Now where would we be without the classic Burberry Trench, the ever so chic tapered Theory trousers, the gold Brietling watch, Anne Fountaine's crisp white shirts, Christian Louboutin's to christian our feets, Chanel's rouge lipstick and a Kara Ross 18kt gold diamond ring, well let me tell you...we would be nowhere, because these are the classic pieces that make fashion fabulous! Oh but let's not forget the genius that made chic possible... the great ...the incredible
Yves Saint Laurent!
It's All About The Fur !!
Right now it's all about fur! And no I’m not just saying this because it's clearly winter and that's the prime warm ensemble, but right now fur is making a killer statement wherever I look. I just bought this amazing parker from Theory which is enriched with Racoon fur on the hood; believe me when I say it's simply divine; casual but chic!

Back To School!
Yes it’s true. Regardless of our age and the decade we were born in, it seems we are all making a quick return back to school. If it’s anything to go by Luella Bartley has sure re-tickled our kindle for shorter hemlines, pom poms on the tips of our shoes and fastenings placed where one would shudder in disgust in our day. But lets face it, that’s a look we all want to relive and with the likes of Burberry and Marc Jacobs gracing our catwalk this season with a re-run of the 80’s and a return to heritage, where sure to be back on track.

News Flash!
Ok so not only has this (I dread to repeat) credit crisis got everyone thinking about investment pieces in their wardrobe, or a great find in the local charity shop, but it seems we have all dwelled on a look that screams cheap, scruffy, and damn right chic.
This is obviously the new way to look and shop through these times...take for instance Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen who are the perfect examples of the poor little rich girl phenomenon. Maybe there clothes are not exactly cheap but to be fair they kinda look it, but at the same time they always seem to look damn right amazing and there look is something you can certainly find at any good vintage shop.
Now now I would be a hypocrite if I said don't invest in great designer pieces once in a while or a fool to think you could find the same quality at Chanel at Primark because thats clearly not true, but the shabby chic look is something that can defiantly be imitated wherever you decide to shop! Chloe Sevingy is also another great example of the expensive + vintage look = amazingly chic explosion.

Recycled Fashion
Can we ever be individuals when our whole wardrobes are simply based on recyled fashion??
As much as we claim to set trends and not be fashion victims it would appear that we are at times our own worst fashion enemy..now you see I was born in 1987, born into the 90's yet I never got to be a teen that was part of the 90's the music and flair was all over my head..now 21 I find myself getting sucked into what went before me..victorian frilly blouses paired with skinny jeans..retro trainers and gold rope chains..boyfriend blazers and high waisted skirts with plimsolls..I am I guess a recyled fashion victim..for my wardrobe like others remains reminiscent of era's gone by..so I ask can we ever really be individuals when so much of our fashion is simply recyled and redone..
