News Flash!
Ok so not only has this (I dread to repeat) credit crisis got everyone thinking about investment pieces in their wardrobe, or a great find in the local charity shop, but it seems we have all dwelled on a look that screams cheap, scruffy, and damn right chic.
This is obviously the new way to look and shop through these times...take for instance Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen who are the perfect examples of the poor little rich girl phenomenon. Maybe there clothes are not exactly cheap but to be fair they kinda look it, but at the same time they always seem to look damn right amazing and there look is something you can certainly find at any good vintage shop.
Now now I would be a hypocrite if I said don't invest in great designer pieces once in a while or a fool to think you could find the same quality at Chanel at Primark because thats clearly not true, but the shabby chic look is something that can defiantly be imitated wherever you decide to shop! Chloe Sevingy is also another great example of the expensive + vintage look = amazingly chic explosion.
